Didem Erbaş is an artist born in Istanbul, currently living and working in Istanbul. In her practice, she works with installation, site-specific installation/intervention, paintings, drawings and video. In her works, she is interested in socio-politic issues in her living geography – Turkey. Geography, housing, tracing and transformation of the space are the topics she focuses on.
Erbaş graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Painting Department. She received her MA degree in Sabanci University Visual Art and Visual Communication Design Department with her thesis “Visual Notes: Geographies that I have not lived in.”
