Clarification Text on the Data Processing for E-Newsletter of Gate 27

Identification of Data Controller and Processed Personal Data

GATE27 KÜLTÜR SANAT TURİZM VE DIŞ TİCARET A.Ş is the data controller in regard to data processing of personal data of persons who sign up for receiving gate27.com e-newsletter with measures stated in this clarification text.

Processed Personal Data Categories

Any data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person is a personal data.

Non – Sensitive Personal Data Categories

Personal Identifying Information                    : Name, Surname, Gender

Communication                                               : E-mail address.

Legal Ground for Processing: Explicit Consent of the data subject within the context of Law no 6698.

Processing Format: In order to be informed about Gate27’s activities, the information of individuals who request the e-journal is processed upon filling out of the registration form on the website and clicking the relevant button by the user. In this context, data processing is partially automated.

Personal Data Processing Purposes

Gate27 processes personal data in order to inform its potential clients about its activities and works, to conduct marketing studies of the goods and services it offers, and to follow up on requests and complaints by preparing an electronic journal.

Personal Data Recipient Groups

In accordance with the local legislation on electronic commercial messages, permission status regarding journal subscription, personal identitying and communication information of the person shall be transferred to Ileti Yönetim Sistemleri A.Ş (Officially authorized Company for safeguarding commercial message permissions). With the aim of following up the complaints of the disputes, transfers are made to our authorized law firm and to the suppliers from whom we receive electronic journal message infrastructure service.

The rights of the Data Subjects arising from the Law No. 6698 are as follows:

a) Learning whether personal data is processed or not,

b) If personal data has been processed, requesting information about it,

c) Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with its purpose,

ç) To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred in the country or abroad,

d) Requesting correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,

 e) Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7,

 f) Requesting notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,

g) Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person itself through analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

h) To request the compensation of the damage in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data.

The rights of the Relevant Persons ( Data Subjects) arising from the GDPR ( Which applicable for EU Citizens)

a) the right to be informed about the collection and the use of their personal data

b) the right to access personal data and supplementary information

c) the right to have inaccurate personal data rectified, or completed if it is incomplete

d) the right to erasure (to be forgotten) in certain circumstances

e) the right to restrict processing in certain circumstances

f) the right to data portability, which allows the data subject to obtain and reuse their personal data for their own purposes across different services

g) the right to object to processing in certain circumstances

h) rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling

i) the right to withdraw consent at any time

To exercise these rights, you can send a request to info@gate-27.com from your e-mail address that you have previously shared with GATE 27, or by sending a written application to Yeniköy Mh. Türkbostan Sokak, No:27, Sarıyer/Istanbul, Turkiye address. Name, surname, TR ID number/passport number, address suitable for notification, telephone and fax number should be included on the request to ensure the authority of the person claiming the right. Requests will be answered within 30 days.
