The installation interconnects the FTIR chemical analysis of industrial and mass-produced plastic objects appealing to five senses and maximizing sensory pleasure, together with a natural stone, a (polypropylene) plastic replica of the stone and a wall section in a metal cage.

Drawing attention to the misuse of the plastic linguistically and practically, the work questions the nature of inorganic plastics with scientific knowledge obtained through an object-oriented approach to the objects of affection or sensory pleasure that speak to the five senses.

Chemical analysis stems from the desire to understand the intrinsic reality of the substance in a post-truth culture where truth has been replaced by misinformation. However, infographics, which require expert knowledge in order to be understood, turn into an aesthetic experience while preventing the usual perception from accessing the objective information; as is the case in the code constructions of digital culture transformed into interfaces. In this sense, the work, with a deconstructive and object-oriented attitude, connects ecological concerns to the post-digital indifference we live in by questioning the minds whose agencies we postulate in the reconstruction of reality.
