Selçuk Artut’un sanatsal araştırmaları ve üretimleri, insan-teknoloji ilişkisinin teorik ve pratik boyutlarına odaklanır. Artut’un çalışmaları Dystopie Sound Art Festival (Berlin, 2018), Moving Image NY (New York, 2015), Art13 London (Londra, 2013), ICA London (Londra, 2012), Art Hong Kong (Hong Kong, 2011), 10. İstanbul Bienali (İstanbul, 2007) gibi uluslararası etkinliklerde sergilenmiş; Artsy, Creative Applications, CoDesign, Visual Complexity, CNN GO gibi mecralarda yer almıştır.

Güncel olarak, Sabancı Üniversitesi’nde Görsel Sanatlar ve Görsel İletişim Tasarımı Programı’nda ses ve etkileşim üzerine dersler vermektedir. 1998 yılından beri üyesi olduğu post-rock avangard müzik grubu Replikas ile birçok albüm çıkarmıştır. 2016 yılında canlı kodlama yöntemi ile işler üreten, RAW isimli ses ve görüntü performansı ikilisi grubunu kurmuştur. Sanatçı, İstanbul ve Berlin’de faaliyet gösteren Zilberman Galeri tarafından temsil edilmektedir.

Selçuk Artut’s (1976) artistic research and production focus on theoretical and practical dimensions of human-technology relations. Artut’s artworks have been exhibited at the Dystopie Sound Art Festival (Berlin, 2018), Moving Image NY (New York, 2015), Art13 London (London, 2013), ICA London (London, 2012), Art Hong Kong (Hong Kong, 2011), and the Istanbul Biennial (Istanbul, 2007), and received coverage at Artsy, Creative Applications, CoDesign, Visual Complexity, and CNN GO. Currently, Artut is teaching on sound and interaction at Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design Program at Sabancı University.

He has released several albums as a member of a post-rock avant-garde music band Replikas since 1998. In 2016, he co-founded an audio-visual performance group, RAW, which produces works through creative coding and live-coding techniques. Artut is represented by Zilberman Gallery based in Istanbul and Berlin.
