Virginia Mastrogiannaki and Dimitris Ameladiotis’ video titled “songs without lyrics / Prespa tune A” is being displayed in Vita Zita studio. Focusing on the region of Prespa, the film rhetorically and cryptically sheds light on the issue of the language ban imposed on the Slavic speakers of the region The project examines the inventive solution of these people to enhance their folk music instrumentally, in the absence of words.

The exhibition can be visited between the dates June 26 to 30 at Vita Studio, Thessaloniki, Greece.
