Until today, the body of her work has dealt with the idea of effort and repetition, and also concepts such as duration, the limit, the moment, the error, the unnecessary, and relations between herself and materials, but also in terms of social relationships. One may encounter an essay of strength and durability of materiality, whether in inanimate things or even other people, and continuous tests of endurance and tolerance. Lately, she has been systematically exploring the vocal area, studying the field of phonation mainly through the reading of selected texts and proposing projects that communicate it, among other things, as a central axis.
Mastrogiannaki will continue working on her vocal performance project derived from the Karamanlı Turkish texts at Gate 27.
