Indigo Perry is a writer and performer based in Melbourne, Australia. She has written two books, Darkfall, and Midnight Water, which was shortlisted for Australia’s National Biography Award. Perry works with writing live in performance, often with collaborators from disparate art disciplines and practices. She is interested in texts appearing not only in books but also in places such as galleries, and performance and installation spaces. The artist writes about trauma, grief, mourning, resilience, and redemption. Common motifs are the night sky, water, music, time, prescience, liminality, and dream or imaginary spaces.
