Catherine Nkolo Lebongo is an award-winning screenwriter, social scientist, poet, visual artist, performer, exhibition curator, and world traveler whose work blends current events with deep, visionary storytelling across genres. Drawing from her career in social impact and entrepreneurial spirit, she crafts stories that examine the complex forces at play in society, challenge limited thinking, and expand our perception of what’s possible.

Rooted in themes of personal growth, societal consciousness, and everyday brilliance, her stories celebrate transformation and spotlight the power of ordinary people to ignite systemic change.

Her current project — a comedic drama TV series — follows a witty environmental researcher who confronts greed and corruption through a series of bold, unconventional actions and fearless truth-telling. A semifinalist in a major television pitch competition, the series blends eco-activism, humor, power, and self-discovery in a timely, multilayered narrative.

Catherine is also writing a Hawaiʻi-inspired sci-fi fantasy series for children and young adults, bringing to life elements of traditional Hawaiian storytelling. In addition, she is developing two nonfiction books exploring healing and wellness through somatic and neuroscience-based practices — one on abundance, and the other on grief, poetry, and eco-somatic spiritual renewal.
