Catherine Nkolo Lebongo is an emerging American screenwriter, director, actor, and poet. Her mother is Irish American, and her father is from Cameroon, West Africa. Lebongo combines her social science expertise and a decade of experience in social impact with her entrepreneurial ventures in the literary arts, adeptly exploring storytelling across multiple mediums and genres. Her forthcoming work, spanning screenplays, poetry, novels, children’s books, and nonfiction, delves into the complexities, paradoxes, and layered identities of modern culture and society.
Inspired by themes of ordinary people harnessing their genius to achieve valiant goals, triumph over evil, the pursuit of a more conscious and equitable world, spiritual growth, and profound transformation, she writes to reveal narratives that expand and change our perceptions. From a young age, captivated by love stories and riveted by dramas based on true events, she crafted and illustrated her first book by hand at age 10, and was up all night reading legal thrillers by age 12. She invites you to buckle up and experience how she intricately weaves societal nuances into her storytelling.
