Burçak Bingöl’s work, A Brick Wants to Be Something (2023) is on display at the exhibition titled The Hunter of Thyself in Versus Art Project until February 24. Curated by Oğuz Karakütük, the exhibition explores the ties between photography and reality through the medium of photography itself. The namesake of Metin Altıok’s poem, the exhibition draws strong connections from the past through avant-garde approaches to expression, exhibition, and representation in photography.
