In the artist talk held by Gate 27‘s September artist-in-residence Abigail Reynolds and curator Cemre Ceren Asarlı, the artist presented her research into calendar systems, sunlight, wind, and ocean currents, and showcased her work in progress using glass and gold leaf. The conversation, which took place in the garden of Gate 27 Istanbul, ended with the screening of the short film Flux, which documents the artist’s experimental process of transforming a beach into glass.
