
Gate 27, farklı pratiklerin araştırma ve üretim süreçlerini desteklemek ve disiplinlerarası etkileşime zemin yaratmak amacıyla 2019’da kurulmuş bir uluslararası konuk sanatçı programıdır.
Assoc. Prof. Ebru Yetişkin is a faculty member in the Department of Sociology at Istanbul Technical University. Her scientific and curatorial research focuses on democratic participation in scientific and artistic knowledge production. She studied Radio, TV, Cinema (BA) in Istanbul University; Science, Technology, Society (STS) (MA) in University of Strasbourg; and Sociology (PhD) in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She worked as a guest researcher in Ecoles Nationale des Mines de Paris, Sociology of Innovation Center and Palais de Tokyo Museum in France, and Ectopia Lab in Portugal. She also gave interactive art and technology courses at New York University, University of Madrid and Ionian University. Her artistic and curatorial research includes national and international exhibitions, workshops, festivals and public seminars. She is one of the founding members of the FEMeeting – Women in Arts, Science and Technology initiative. In 2022, she won The Rosalind Franklin Foundation Science Award for her innovative works at the intersection of science, technology, politics and art. Currently, she works as a visiting professor in University of Strasbourg, Archives Henri Poincaré, Philosophy and Research on Science and Technology.
